Firm builds up BPO services
Diversified Technology Solutions International, Inc. (DTSI), a leading onshore and offshore systems integrator and technology solutions provider in the Philippines, is building up its Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) capabilities this year as the sector continues to register close to 10 percent annual compounded growth rate.
It services over 60 percent of the Contact Centers and BPOs in the country. In almost a decade of operations, DTSI has become the preferred call center solutions provider of most large international outsourced contact centers. It has been Avaya’s consistent Top Gold Business Partner, installing over 25,000 call center seats out of 48,000 seats nationwide. To date, DTSI serves over 30 local contact centers, such as ClientLogic, e-Telecare, Convergys, Dell, Ambergris, and People Support.
The company has likewise widened its market to include banks, hotels, airlines, schools, and firms using advanced telephony technology. “Though DTSI is growing at a comfortable pace, we still want to branch out to these sectors to achieve targets,” noted executive vice president and country head Gerardo Topacio. “We have an established niche in terms of BPO clients from the United States, but we cannot be complacent, particularly with the trend of businesses going to India and China, “ he stressed.
DTSI has been operating in the country for almost a decade. It was established via a partnership between Fujitsu Philippines and NewGen Holdings.
